We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Member of Technical Staff to join our team. In this role, you will lead the technical design and development of Omni-channel services in the Telecom CPE Service management and troubleshooting area. You will work closely with senior engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify the technical and functional needs of new initiatives based on priority. Additionally, you will develop quick solutions and prototypes to showcase to leadership and perform engineering analysis to enhance monitoring, performance tuning, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Technical Design and Development: Oversee the technical design and development of Omni-channel services in Telecom CPE Service management and troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with senior engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize technical and functional needs for new initiatives.

  • Prototype Development: Develop quick solutions and prototypes to demonstrate to leadership for the continuation of new initiatives.

  • Engineering Analysis and Action Plans: Conduct engineering analysis and produce action plans for monitoring, enhancement, performance tuning, deployment, and production support-related enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience leading the technical design and development of Omni-channel services in Telecom CPE Service management and troubleshooting.

  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work with senior engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize technical and functional needs.

  • Solution Development: Strong skills in developing quick solutions and prototypes to showcase to leadership for new initiatives.

  • Experience: 8+ years of related Omni-channel back-end development experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Technical Skills: 6+ years of progressive experience in application delivery and subject matter expertise in building Java-based high-volume/high-transaction applications, especially in Telecom CPE Service and Management area.

  • Web Application Development: 6+ years of experience in building web applications using Java, Spring, and REST.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.

  • Advanced degrees (Master's or PhD) in relevant fields are preferred but not required.

Our Principal Member of Technical Staff, earns between $160,900.00-$241,300.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
