About The Job

The Principal Software Engineer will be responsible for leading the Strategy, Solution and implementation of finance systems primarily utilizing Oracle ERP Cloud solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of finance processes and accounting principles, strong technical skills in Oracle ERP Cloud, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of software engineers.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years experience
• System Architecture & Design: Develop and oversee the architecture and design of finance systems using Oracle ERP Cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers, guiding them through complex problem-solving and project execution.
• Functional experience: Deep understanding of common finance functions like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany settlements etc.
• Integration: Design and implement integrations between Oracle ERP Cloud and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
• Customization & Configuration: Solve for the needs for custom modules, extensions, and configurations within the Oracle ERP Cloud environment to meet specific business needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with finance department stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure that all finance systems comply with relevant regulatory requirements and security standards.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, design decisions etc.

Tools and Technologies

• Proficiency in Oracle ERP Cloud modules such as Financials, Procurement, and Project Portfolio Management.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS applications, and enterprise integration patterns.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Desired:

• Previous AT&T Experience,  Oracle ERP Cloud certifications
• Preferred Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Sciences or equivalent experience.
• Expert level technical professional. Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.

Our Principal Software Engineering, earns between $141,300.00-$211,900.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
