Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Cricket Wireless is looking for a dedicated and innovative Principal UX Designer/Architect to join our Digital Experience Team. In the role as a Principal UX Designer/Architect, you will design and optimize user experiences for the Cricket Wireless Digital Experience team across web and mobile applications utilizing various graphics software applications, techniques, and tools to ensure intuitive and seamless interactions for Cricket's customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Prototyping:

  • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize design solutions.
  • Design and develop user interface features, site animations, and special effects elements.
  • Ensure alignment with design system standards, brand guidelines and aesthetic principles.

User Research and Information Architecture:

  • Conduct thorough user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Develop and organize the structure and flow of information within the product.
  • Determine the optimal layout, media, and technology based on client requirements.

Collaboration and Strategy:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI designers, developers, and product owners.
  • Ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.
  • Contribute to the design group’s efforts to enhance digital offerings.
  • Independently manage multiple projects.

Usability, Accessibility, and Documentation:

  • Ensure that designs comply with usability and accessibility standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation.
  • Maintain security and documentation standards, including quality and accuracy.

Continuous Improvement and Trend Awareness:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Continuously iterate in a test and learn environment.
  • Consistently analyze performance to make data driven decisions.

Education/Experience:

  • Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, or Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.
  • Senior-level, real-world experience in design (8-10+ years) with the ability to manage projects independently.
  • Must have an online portfolio or equivalent.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Our Principal UX Designer/Architect earn between $141,300 - $211,900 of TSR.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
