Job Overview

Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

As a Principal Cybersecurity Communications and Training, you will be responsible for development and maintenance of cybersecurity training for our large enterprise. You will help identify training needs, work with subject matter experts to develop course content, and collaborate with our partners to develop and deploy the courses to relevant audiences. You will also be a member of our overall communications and cybersecurity awareness team, contributing to a broad campaign of employee education around organization activities, priorities and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training

    • Create a cohesive set of employee cybersecurity training courses focused on promoting good security behaviors and practices, for both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Collaborate with cybersecurity subject matter experts and AT&T education and training personnel to create and deploy courses.

    • Review existing courses to ensure that information remains relevant and correct, and make changes when needed.

    • Monitor effectiveness and feedback on training courses.

  • Communications

    • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans for various campaigns.

    • Write, review, and edit communications plans, emails, web content, print materials, and internal social media posts.

    • Ensure all communications are clear, concise, and tailored to the target audience.

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce accurate and relevant content.

    • Assist in the creation of visual content, such as infographics and presentations, to enhance training materials.

  • In general

    • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices to integrate into communications.

    • Stay updated on the goals of the AT&T cybersecurity organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Demonstrable experience in creating training courses and campaigns on technical topics for a broad, diverse audience.

  • Demonstrable understanding of cybersecurity principles.

  • 8-10 years’ experience in a related position.

  • Experience with Articulate or similar training platforms.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Proven experience in managing communication campaigns and developing communication plans.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex cybersecurity topics.

Our Principal Cybersecurity, earns between $158,200.00-$237,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
