Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operation support for production systems and applications, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.
  • Ensure data accuracy and perform backload of missing data into production system
  • Monitor system performance and respond to incidents promptly, following established procedures for resolution.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups, patching, and updates on On-Prem and Azure environment.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to deploy new releases and updates, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, application performance, database connectivity, and server configurations.
  • Document support activities, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Participate in shift rotations, ensuring continuous support coverage.
  • Implement and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks using Python, Java, Shell Scripting.
  • Create and monitor Grafana dashboards.

Shift: Rotational Shifts (1PM-10PM, 5:30PM-2:30AM IST)

Technical Skills:

Programming                       : Java, Shell Scripting

Operation Experience       :  Large scale enterprise applications, Data intensive operations.

Database                               : PostgreSQL, Snowflake

DevOps Tools                       : DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, JFrog, Grafana

Operating Systems              : Linux/Unix

Cloud Experience                : Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) is an advantage

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in operations support, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
  • Good understanding and working experience on SQL.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, Shell) and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a rotational shift environment, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience in Snowflake, Droid framework is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java back end application development and support.
  • Basic knowledge of production operations best practices.
  • Previous experience in a 24/7 support environment.
