About the Team:
This team is responsible for maintaining multiple tools and applications used across ATT call centers. These include Workforce management, Quality monitoring and numerous Oracle/SQL databases under the support of Contact Center Solutions organization. Team has a mix of highly skilled individuals who have vast experience in design, development and support of custom solutions that are extensively used by contact centers agents.
Job Description:
This role will support critical applications for Workforce management and Call routing to support the Single CTI initiative. Supporting existing MS SQL databases and skills to resolve database vulnerabilities are essential. Familiarity with all aspects of databases administration including design, deployment, backup/recovery and troubleshooting of production issues.
Skillset Required:
Strong understanding and expertise in providing DBA support for MS SQL databases.
- Creating, implementing, and examining test plans, automated scripts, within the contact center technology domain while working collaboratively with teammates.
- Very good understanding of Application DBA functionalities.
- Strong understanding and expertise in providing DBA support for MS SQL databases.
- Strong experience on database backup, restore and data movements export/import processes.
- Hands-on experience with Build/Deployment tools and Shell scripting.
- Will be responsible to diagnose and address database performance issues and be knowledgeable in use of various tuning techniques.
- Troubleshoot database production problems and database connectivity issues.
Vulnerability management - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to isolate problems and fix it in a highly critical production support scenario
The operational database support responsibilities may include those related to availability, performance, currency, integrity, security, and confidentiality of the database instances, database backups and recoveries, database disaster recovery, data replication, database growth and disk space utilization, database problem analysis and resolution, configuration files, operating system account and system level schemas, tablespaces, database patches, database upgrades, database compatibilities, database bugs and workarounds, database vendor support process, database documentation, new database release features and enhancements, special features associated with the physical DBMS (such as clusters), applications consultation, SQL tuning and object management, automation, and project implementation activities, such as physical design and installation of database environments and database.
Contribution: Technical professional with good experience in Application DBA role. Sound technical knowledge growing through application, expanding knowledge of ATT technologies., Process and Tools.
Education: Preferred Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Sciences or equivalent experience.
Experience: Typically requires 8-10 years of experience in DBA/ADBA role.
