Job Description:
Responsible for managing the lifecycle of software products and standards associated with a large enterprise. This includes combining technical, financial and business knowledge associated with a particular vendor, agreement, technology or enterprise.
Roles and responsibilities
Includes the entire asset lifecycle process of software assets from procurement through retirement.
Accountable for providing input to or for developing/making strategic recommendations based on standards to Senior Leadership by evaluating comparable software and hardware options, vendor capability and affordability. Work with key internal strategic partners to vet, review and process new and existing technology needs.
Knowledgeable in software license deployment and entitlement best practices, processes, and procedures.
Works with management at various levels in other organizations to quantify, qualify and ensure that the client, business case and/or project requirements are achieved.
Responsible for developing, forecasting, tracking and analysis of technology spend. Ensure all aspects of the process meet and exceed audit requirements (i.e. Internal, External, SOX, etc.).
Key competencies and skills
The skill set for this position includes a working knowledge of IT Asset Management, AT&T Corporate technology standards, experience in auditing processes and with basic financial planning. This role requires experience with procurement, the ability to read and interpret contractual agreements as well as software distribution practices. Additional abilities required are data analysis, asset tracking and may require input and status to client business cases.
The incumbent will work with managers both within Asset Management as well as in other organizations to define requirements to acquire and track systems and software. The Manager keeps Senior Management informed and provides recommendations regarding renewal, acquisition, delivery, budget vs. actuals, and license compliance status and any issues requiring executive oversight or decisions. The incumbent’s decisions and recommendations can impact the allocation of millions of dollars, both present and future.
Required Skills:
Working experience in Procurement and IT asset management
Working experience in reading contracts and understanding of contractual terms
Working knowledge of data analysis tools
Fundamental understanding of SAM best practices,
Working experience in vendor management preferred
Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written
Ability to communicate on different organizational levels
PC literate with experience of a range of software packages (MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point)
Flexible, dependable with strong negotiation and analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality output.
Strong commitment to process and quality improvement.
Confident communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and customers

Salary: from 2050 EUR/a month gross. The actual salary is based on your skills, experience and knowledge.
