Job Description:

Our Product Development group, part of AT&T’s Technology Services (ATS) organization, is responsible for building software-based products, services, and platforms that our customers love and need. Job Overview:

As a Full Stack Engineer Manager, your primary role will be to lead, manage, and develop a team of full stack developers. This position requires a deep understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, continuous workflows, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to team development. The role is critical in fostering a high-trust environment, guiding the software engineering processes and architecture decisions, and ensuring the delivery of projects both on time and to specification.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the team of full stack developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.

  • Plan, delegate, and monitor full stack activities, tasks and projects.

  • Develop and implement training programs for team members to ensure they are up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure these are effectively addressed by your team.

  • Provide regular performance feedback, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members.

  • Ensure adherence to established IT policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Escalate and manage any full stack related issues or risks, ensuring swift resolution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership/people manager role within a software engineering environment.

  • Good knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies and development.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

  • ServiceNow experience and background is a plus.
