As a Cybersecurity Awareness Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to cultivate a security-conscious culture. You will play a key role in the development and execution of our security awareness program, focusing on reducing human risk through targeted education and engagement initiatives. This role requires a proactive, creative, and communicative individual who can manage multiple projects and effectively convey security concepts to a diverse audience.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Phishing and Smishing Testing: Design, implement, and manage phishing and smishing testing campaigns to assess and improve employee awareness and response to these threats.

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative security awareness content, including articles, newsletters, training materials, and multimedia resources, tailored to various employee groups.

  • Event Management: Plan and execute awareness events such as webinars, workshops, and interactive training sessions to promote security best practices and reinforce key messages.

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine the overall strategy for our security awareness program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

  • Communication: Serve as a strong communicator, both written and verbal, to effectively convey security concepts and the importance of security awareness to employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of awareness initiatives through metrics and feedback, providing regular reports to senior management and recommending improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security.

  • Requires 8-10 years of related experience.

  • Demonstrable experience in managing security awareness or human risk reduction programs.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and deliver impactful presentations.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of awareness programs and identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Our Principal Cybersecurity Awareness/Human Risk Reduction earns between $158,200.00-$237,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
