Job Description Summary: Specialist, HR Generalist
Overall Purpose: Responsible for providing organizational support in the areas of: employee onboarding, induction, file management, payroll, benefits administration, query management, documentation, automation and data analytics. Consults and supports individual managerial needs as well as overall organizational development activities.
Supervisory: No.
Job Description: This position is responsible for the following main areas of operation but is not limited to them:
- HR operations delivery support for India
- HR operations projects and relevant activities within the region
Roles & Responsibilities:
- This is an employee facing role and would need exceptionally good employee relation skills.
- The role covers all HR related activities from onboarding to retirement of an employee.
- This role manages sensitive personal data of employees – the incumbent should have a keen sense of ethics and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain employee personnel and digital files.
- Have knowledge of HR policies, it’s applications and respond to employee queries and escalations accordingly.
- Maintaining employee data is a core HR Operations Delivery responsibility, experience with Workday/ People soft applications is a requirement.
- Experience in supporting country payroll inputs.
- Excel expertise and attention to data accuracy
- Vendor Management – Liaise and manage vendors handling in country employee benefits related to provident fund, internal recognition platforms etc.
- Liaise with related functions internally and externally as and when needed.
- Experience with handling compliance is beneficial.
- Work on automating existing processes by collaborating with various internal / external stakeholders.
- Plan and prioritize your work to meet strict deadlines.
- Partner with colleagues to resolve more complex issues, reducing escalations while ensuring compliance.
Education and Experience
Preferable MBA (HR) or MSW
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in HR domain
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Solid experience in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Experience in Workday/ Peoplesoft/ SAP/ Oracle HCM Applications
