Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 1 day per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales Excellence to drive sales execution from end to end. This role will be responsible for leading transformation initiatives in sales, enhancing efficiency in the sales process, and ensuring seamless execution from sales through billing by collaborating with key stakeholders across the business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, process improvement, and transformation management.

The job duties are as follows:   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Execution: Oversee and drive the entire sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Transformation Initiatives: Lead and manage sales transformation projects aimed at improving sales performance and operational efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the sales process and implement strategies to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and customer support, to ensure cohesive and efficient sales execution.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Technology Integration: Utilize sales tools to enhance sales processes and reporting capabilities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a focus on sales process improvement and transformation initiatives.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and motivating high-performing sales teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and driving change within an organization.
  • Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans to drive sales growth and efficiency.

Our Director-Business Operations earn between $158,200 - $237,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
