Job Description:

Intelink Services provide interagency information sharing, content discovery, and collaboration capabilities on the IC system domains to the IC and its partners in Defense, Homeland Security, Foreign Affairs, and Law Enforcement.

AT&T has an opening for a Windows System Administrator to support Public Sector Solutions.

This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Windows servers (2012, 2016, and 2019), including the provisioning of a Windows 11 VDI infrastructure for enclave access and program support.
  • Support Intelink IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc. Provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
  • Escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Provides Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Creates and updates ServiceNow tickets accordingly.
  • Manages GPOs, applies security and system patching and coordinates/supports all service leads utilizing Windows servers across the Intelink program.
  • Configures and manages Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Will be comfortable in all areas of analysis, design, installation, implementation, configuration, tuning, administration, operation, and security of mid-to-large-tier Windows systems. 
  • Be knowledgeable in the following categories: Power shell,  Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory,  Trelix ePolicy Orchestrator, Virtualization and VMWare, and Amazon Web Services.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with servers, windows applications, and software integration.
  • May be required to respond to after-hours requests as required in a 24 x 7 environment.
  • Work to be performed in Laurel, MD.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Five (5) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. (NOTE: Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree). Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level I (SEC+, A+, NET+, CCNA)

Our Windows System Administrator (SA1) (Government) earns between $79,300 - $152,600 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
