In this role, working closely with partners across multiple organizations, you will be responsible to explore, identify, and collect data from internal and external sources. Then analyzing that data for trends and correlation to key deliverables or initiatives. Next use advanced analytics and forecasting techniques to solve a variety of problems. Finally, preparing presentations to report findings to varied audiences including Senior Leadership.

Key roles and Responsibilities:
- Database - Identify, access, manipulate large and complex data sets from various sources
- Modeling and Forecasting – Identify and procure required data, document assumptions, analyze using methods such as time series statistical methods, machine learning, and simulation. Maintain/enhance existing forecast deliverables as well as ad hoc one-time projections.
- Reporting -- Share insights with senior executives and other stakeholders via advanced visualization, Tableau, business intelligence/Power BI, and presentation tools.

Job Contribution:

Education
Degree from an accredited university in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Math/Statistics, Operations Research, etc.) along with multiple years of relevant experience.

The background of the successful candidate includes:
- Experience in advanced analytics, relational and no-SQL technologies, research methods, sampling techniques
- Experience in advanced forecasting: time-series (ARIMA, Bayesian, hierarchical), causal (regression, GARCH, machine learning, probabilistic programming), and systems (agent-based models, system dynamics).
- Accomplished programmer with expertise in at least one language primarily relevant to the field: advanced SQL, Python, R
- Working knowledge of cloud solutions: Snowflake and Databricks
- Familiarity with the telecommunications network infrastructure or industry in general is preferred but not required

Our Principal Network Planning Eng, earns between $130,700.00-$196,100.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
