Job Description:
Team Lead and Project Manager
• The Project Manager (PM) will serve as primary interface between the AT&T Lifecycle Management team, including its supporting Centers of Excellence (COE), and the client, representing project-qualified voice and/or data network deployments and/or evolution of supporting network infrastructure. The PM must ensure customer requirements are met by applying standard (PMI) project management principles, supported by knowledge of ordering, provisioning, and installation processes for both AT&T products and its suppliers. The PM will proactively resolve issues that challenge project schedule, scope, cost, or quality and must manage changing needs and priorities of the client or AT&T. The PM will maintain the identified standard, formal project documentation and will prepare executive overviews as necessary. The PM is responsible for managing all aspects of the end-to-end delivery of services to customer. Responsibilities include directing the completion of activities such as architecture design, engineering, change control, and operations acceptance to ensure complete success of delivering service to customer.
This role has additional responsibility of managing a Team from third party vendor who are responsible for managing low complex MACD requests. Team lead needs to identify process issues and coordinate appropriately to resolution.
• Required Skills, etc: Bachelor degree In Engineering/Science with 8 + years of experience in project management.
- Knowledge of communication technologies and networking technologies e.g.
- Knowledge of the Project Management best practices.
- working experience with Vendors and Monitoring their metrics on regular basis.
- Previous Project Management experience
• Additional Preferred Qualifications: PMP certification , ITIL
- Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining output quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and lead teams worldwide, Cultural Awareness
- Ability to interact on the phone with customers and their peers during the implementation and problem determination process. Prior experience interfacing directly with customers, project managers, internal organizations and US based local exchange companies is desired.
